Rare Tumbling Bear by Shawnee Pottery (c.1930s-1940s)

We estimate that this rare tumbling bear was made by Shawnee Pottery in the 1930s-1940s. It’s hand painted and was part of their miniature animal series.

Shawnee Pottery was based out of Zanesville, Ohio from 1937-1961. Even though they closed their doors over 60 years ago, their pieces have stood the test of time, and are highly collectible.
